Willow Seixas -So Deceiving; Original Music Video: A Captivating heartfelt song of deception
#willowseixas #sodeceiving #ballad
I am an 11 year old upcoming American actress and aspiring Singer/Songwriter. I want to share my music with everyone; sharing my gift through song to bring happiness, comfort and love to all. Please check out my latest music video, So Deceiving, an original song I co-wrote with award-winning music producer, Dawn Elder.
I wrote the song So Deceiving because that’s how I felt about a friend. I thought everything in our relationship was perfect and then suddenly they backstabbed me. I bet a lot of you can relate to this and it really hurts; this song expresses all my emotions about it. I hope those who can relate to this hurt, can feel they are not alone in these rough times/relationships. Additionally, I wrote it as a note to everyone to get back up off the ground because feeling sorry for yourself isn’t going to change anything. If they are going to treat you bad, you don’t need them! Just never feel sorry for the sadness others engrave in you. At the end of the day, all that really matters is you’re not set up in a toxic relationship anymore. 💗💗💗

LYRICS
Verse 1
You said you would change
You then apologized
You said it’s a mistake
But it happens every time
You said we were friends
That you’d always be by my side
But now it’s the end
I never got a reply
Pre-Chorus
As the rain pours down on to the ground
You’ve ran away, somewhere safe and sound
Chorus
It’s like you’ve always been looking
For someone else and cared only
For what’s in it for you
Your love was so deceiving
So take what you want, I
don't give a damn about your trust
So stupid why did I believe
Where’s the friendship we achieved
Chorus Outro
Your love was so deceiving
Oh you had me believing
You deceived me
Your love was so deceiving
Verse 2
I never would of thought
I’d be where I am now
You gave me the strength to move on
That strength was fake somehow
You like to play pretend
You like your little lies
I use to depend on you
But I’m glad we said goodbye
Pre -Chorus
As the rain pours down on to the ground
You’ve ran away, somewhere safe and sound
Chorus
It’s like you’ve always been looking
For someone else and cared only
For what’s in it for you
Your love was so deceiving
So take what you want, I
don't give a damn about your trust
So stupid why did I believe
Where’s the friendship we achieved
Chorus Outro
Your love was so deceiving
Oh you had me believing
You deceived me
Your love was so deceiving
Bridge
You never really deserved me
I gave you the world
but nothing ever seemed to make you happy
Try as hard as you want,
you’ll never get me back
I deserve more than your foolish lies
And I will not waste any more time, oh
PRE- CHORUS
As the rain pours down on to the ground
You’ve ran away, somewhere safe and sound
CHORUS
It's like you’ve always been looking
For someone else and cared only
For what’s in it for you
Your love was so deceiving
So take what you want,
I don't give a damn about your trust
So stupid why did I believe
Where’s the friendship we achieved
Chorus Outro
Your love was so deceiving
Oh you had me believing
You deceived me
Your love was so deceiving
